Acredito que seja realmente o anúncio do novo console. Estou muito curioso especialmente em relação ao controle (que espero que seja bem melhor) e aos serviços (se a PSN continuará gratuita e se também terá benefícios com a PS+ pra ele, o que acredito que deva acontecer).

Até passou isso pela minha cabeça, rapidamente, mas, pensando melhor, o PS3 não matou de fato as vendas do PS2 e o PS Vita não matou de fato as vendas do PSP, mesmo após os lançamentos, então não creio que a Sony esteja tendo essa preocupação. Na verdade, creio que a Sony tenha mais a ganhar em ser a primeira anunciando o novo console do que a perder.

isso é verdade. O ps2 só saiu de produção esse ano. Mas uma coisa é certa, esse é o último ano de jogos exclusivos para ps3. Não tem mais sentido investir no ps3 com o ps4 anunciado. Claro que o ps3 continuará no mercado, por muitos anos, até pq tem uma biblioteca enorme. Mas não espero mais nenhum título AA (fora GTA5) para o segundo semestre.

Na verdade as especulações não acabam dia 20 se for realmente anunciado. Nós só saberemos os jogos que serão lançados provavelmente na E3 e principalmente as configurações só serão confirmadas depois do lançamento.

Lembro que ICO foi um título que estava sendo desenvolvido originalmente para o primeiro Playstation, e depois acabou tendo o seu desenvolvimento mudado para o PS2. Pode até ser que o mesmo aconteça com The Last Guardian, sendo cancelado pra PS3 (essa parte é provável) e passando a ser um título pro próximo console.

Quanto aos outros jogos que você mencionou, não sei sobre eles o suficiente sequer pra opinar.

Interessante que se o PS4 for mesmo anunciado no dia 20 e a Sony continuar soltando informações aos poucos é provável que a MS modifique sua estratégia de esperar a E3 para fazer o seu anúncio, afinal a Sony vai ganhar tanta publicidade gratuita até a E3 que o impacto de um novo Xbox pode ser diminuído.

Move will be available at launch, but it’s not clear yet whether it will be bundled with the hardware. Privately, Sony representatives have conceded that the company made a mistake in creating such esoteric architecture for PS3, and its strategy for PS4 gives developers more opportunities this time around, notably because the hardware is much more PC-like in its makeup than PS3.

We have confirmed with sources that recently leaked tech specs are accurate. Though Durango devkits offer 8GB of DDR3 RAM, compared to Orbis’s 4GB, Sony’s GDDR5 solution is capable of moving data at 176 gigabytes per second, which should eliminate the sort of bottlenecks that hampered PS3 game performance. Importantly, we’ve learned that Sony has told developers that it is pushing for the final PS4 RAM to match up to Microsoft’s 8GB.

Both platforms are driven by eight-core AMD CPUs clocked at 1.6GHz, with Microsoft opting for a D3D11.x GPU from an unknown source and Sony utilising a more capable solution in AMD’s ‘R10XX’ architecture, alongside the so-called ‘Liverpool’ system-on-chip.

It’s clear Sony has designed a system that, on paper, outperforms Microsoft’s next Xbox. One source familiar with both platforms tells us that in real terms Sony’s console is “slightly more powerful” and “very simple to work with”.

Ultimately, the performance differences between the two consoles will have as much bearing on multiplatform releases as the differences between PS3 and 360 – very little – but Sony will be expecting big-budget firstparty releases such as the PS4 Uncharted sequel to demonstrate its console’s superiority.[/blockquote]

Também me incomodou isso aí. Mas, pelo menos, se mantiverem o tamanho mas mudarem a posição do analógico esquerdo e trocarem o L2 e o R2 por gatilhos decentes, já será muito bem-vindo.

Não é tela no meio e sim um touchpad.

Acho perfeitamente possível fazer um controle mais ergonômico com o tamanho atual. Pra mim, o mais importante é que melhorem as alavancas e gatilhos.

Realmente tem que melhorar os gatilhos do controle e espero que eles não fiquem com o pé atrás para copiar os do xbox, tem mais é que copiar mesmo. Falo isso porque japonês gosta de inventar coisa, igual o controle boomerang que nunca foi lançado. Agora pelo tamanho e pelo peso do controle que muitos reclamam, eu gosto do Dualshock do jeito que ele é, pra mim fazer um Dualshock 4 não seria problema. Ainda acho que essa tela que irão colocar no controle se usarem ela do jeito certo, irá ficar excelente.

Pelo que eu entendi o Dualshock 4 NÃO vai ter uma tela como o gamepad do WiiU, apenas um touchpad como a parte de trás do Vita.
