Ontem aconteceu o leilão das franquias da THQ, os resultados serão divulgados hoje mais tarde, mas já circulam vários rumores de quem comprou quem.

De acordo com os rumores essas foram as empresas que compraram cada franquia/estúdio:


•Volition (Saint's Row e Red Faction) -------- Vendida para a Koch Media (associada da Deep Sliver )

•Relic (Warhammer 40k ) ------------- Vendida para a SEGA

•Homefront ------------------------Vendido para a Crytek

•South Park The Stick of Truth ------ --Vendido para a Ubisoft


Ainda não surgiram informações do destino de outras franquias como Darksiders e Metro.

De acordo com o twitter "@DDInvesting" que vem postando os detalhes desde o começo do leilão esse é o resultado final:

•Sega comprou a Relic por 26 milhões de dólares;
•Metro foi vendido para a Koch Media por 5.8 milhões;
•A Koch Media também comprou a Volition por 22.3 milhões;
•Homefront foi vendido para a Crytek por 500 mil dólares;
•A Ubisoft comprou os direitos de South Park The Stick of Truth por 3.2 milhões;
•A THQ Montreal foi vendida para a Ubi por 2.6 milhões de dólares;
•Um shooter que está em desenvolvimento chamado "Evolve" foi vendido para a Take Two por 11 milhões de dólares.


O futuro de Darksiders e dos jogos da WWE ainda não foram revelados.

A Vigil (Darksiders) não recebeu nenhuma proposta. O estúdio provavelmente fechará permanentemente. Uma pena, já que Darksiders era uma ótima franquia.

isso era natural, afinal, a THQ anunciou ano passado que a Crytec já iria produzir o HF2

Company of Heroes nas mãos da SEGA seria excelente. Espero que seja verdade.

Quanto ao South Park estão numa briga tremenda com os donos do desenho. Espero que isso não atrapalhe e nem atrase o jogo, pois promete ser um dos melhores do ano.

South Park pela Ubisoft vai receber um bom marketing. A Obsidian pode ter em mãos seu primeiro grande sucesso de crítica e público.

A Sega com a Relic foi a melhor notícia, pois se Company of Heroes seguir o sucesso da série Total War não decepcionará os fãs.

Mas eu espero que eles resolvam lá a treta com South Park Studio.

While much will be written, here are the facts of the bids and auction that occurred t: Yesterday morning, we received a competing bid for the operating business, along with Clearlake's offer, and numerous offers for separate assets. During an auction process that lasted over 22 hours, the final conclusion was that the separate-asset bids would net more than a single buyer for the majority of the company. Shortly, we will, present the results to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, which must concur with our assessment. The proposed sales of multiple assets is as follows : Sega agreed to purchase Relic Koch Media agreed to purchase Volition and Metro Crytek agreed to purchase Homefront Take 2 agreed purchase Evolve and Ubisoft agreed to purchase Montreal and South Park We expect these sales to close this week. Some assets, including our publishing businesses and Vigil, along with some other intellectual properties are not included in the sale agreements. They will remain part of the Chapter 11 case. We will make every effort to find appropriate buyers, if possible. What this means for employees We expect that most employees of the entities included in the sale will be offered employment by the new owners. However, we cannot say what these owners may intend, and there will likely be some positions that will not be needed under the new ownership. You should receive notice this week or early next week if the new owners intend to extend employment to you. Uma verdade pena pela Vigil. Eu gostei muito de Darksiders. Certamente os profissionais não vão ficar na rua por muito tempo.

"Veremos o futuro dos jogos da WWE" Eu sinceramente acho que eles não tem futuro, não sei se devem levar eles pra frente, lançar anualmente já ficou igual COD, vou pegar o wwe 13 amanha ou depois e verei oque a thq fez em seu ultimo suspiro.

Fico feliz que Metro, Stalker, Company of Heroes e Saints Row conseguiram uma casa... mas putz... serio que Darksiders vai morrer pra sempre??? Tremendo jogao.

E sobre a venda dele no Steam? Vai pra quem o dinheiro agora? Devo correr e comprar Darksiders II desesperadamente antes que tirem do ar? Vai virar Free? Vai virar lucro puramente da Valve? Alguem tem ideia do que vai acontecer com ele no Steam?
