Começaram a ser liberados os primeiros reviews de Far Cry Primal, novo título da Ubisoft utilizando a já conhecida série Far Cry.
Com média atual de 77, o jogo está bem abaixo de seus antecessores Far Cry 3 (91) e Far Cry 4 (85), um sinal claro do desgaste que a Ubisoft está trazendo também a esta franquia assim como fez com Assassin's Creed, com mecânicas idênticas espalhadas por locais diferentes.
As análises estão sendo feitas, em sua maioria, com a versão do PS4.

That focus on primitive times can become a hindrance at certain points, with limited tools and repetitive combat, but in the end, Far Cry Primal stays true to its callous setting, fleshing out every layer of the captivating world it creates.

The visceral and varied combat is fun, the beast-based gameplay is a winner, and the lure of camp-claiming, gear-crafting, beast hunting, and resource gathering remains irresistible. It’s weakened, however, by a disappointing lack of investment in its story, some often forgettable quests, and its vanilla villains, which unfortunately combine to make Primal feel like a step back from the memorable moments of Far Cry 3 and 4.

If you were hoping for more of a revolution to the formula, or didn't particularly enjoy the hunting mechanics in past games, then you're best off steering clear of this title. Of course, if you're merely looking to jump back into the familiar Far Cry gameplay loop in a captivating open world, then there's still plenty of fun to be had. And at the end of the day, who on Earth doesn't want to ride around on a bear?

Far Cry Primal really wants you to know that there are tons of things you can do in its prehistoric, open world. Unfortunately, you may not want to do any of them.

While Far Cry Primal is a well-made experience, one I enjoyed a great deal, it oftentimes had me thinking about the routine the series has settled into, and envisioning a future where the Far Cry formula may not be as compelling as it once was, no matter how extraordinary the setting.

Beneath this wildly altered aesthetic, for better or for worse, Ubisoft is still playing it safe. Personally, I found Primal to be far more entertaining than Far Cry 4, but even then it’s hard to overlook the series’ systematic regurgitation of ideas and concepts.

Primal takes the great structure of the Far Cry series, but little of its character. No clear goal and a limited arsenal end up making this feel a little prehistoric itself.

Parece ser um ótimo jogo, mas pra quem vem acompanhando a franquia desde o 3, talvez veja algum desgaste. Está na hora mesmo de mirar nas novas ips.

Engraçado como a cada ano a Ubisoft, vem caindo de conceito. A EA que é a mais odiada, vem aos poucos tentando melhorar sua imagem (o que é difícil), mas não duvido nada que nos próximos anos a Ubisoft pegue o cetro de mais odiada da EA.

Claramente o jogo aparenta ter sido reciclado dos anteriores.
A temática poderia dizer o contrário, mas eu sabia que o lançamento tão breve provaria que não.

A Ubi precisa é olhar com mais carinho e capricho para suas franquias. É chato olhar pra ela hoje e a relacionar como uma empresa preguiçosa e acomodada que a cada lançamento só piora sua imagem.
Triste isso.

Ontem fui jogar FC4 e descobri que tenho praticamente metade do mapa pra liberar ainda, então sem pressa pra pegar esse novo jogo, porque quando eu terminar FC4 pegando tudo ou quase tudo que ele tem no mapa, ai provavelmente esse novo jogo já vai estar com preço bom nas promoções da live.

Joguei muito FC4 porque era o que tinha na época, mas metade foi pra chegar logo no final do jogo.
Ao final, ficou a sensação de que ter jogado ou não não teria diferença nenhuma.
Talvez esse Primal consiga trazer um frescor por não ter armas, mas só quando estiver nas promos de R$ 70 e que eu possa comprar o disco pra depois trocar.
